a little bout puasa @ ramadhan .

Hari Raya Puasa is a significant even that is celebrated by Muslims all over the world . :) Hari Raya Puasa bring the means of a day of celebration while puasa means fasting . It is actually a festival marking the end of the fasting month and is not the muslim New Year . This festival officially begins upon the sighting of the new moon . The new moon marks the end of Ramadhan and the beginning of syawal .

ehem ! it is compulsory for muslim to fast during the month of ramadhan . Fasting is seen as a sigh of workship and one of important practices in muslim . * ahug ahug (cough) . Muslims believe that it helps we too exercise self - control and lets experiencehow the poor suffer .and therefore, learn to be compassionate towards other . ^_^ . During the fasting month , muslims CANNOT EAT or DRINK from dawn till dusk . They will eat a heavy breakfast beforr dawn to last them throughout the day .
